Italian cooking school in Florence

Linguaviva, in partnership with Apicius, the professional Italian Cooking School in Florence, offers programmes in culinary arts aimed at professionals and amateurs. These cooking courses are held in Italian. Our goal is to emphasise the importance of Italian products, the seasonality of ingredients, the simplicity of the Italian cuisine. Through our programmes in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry and Wine Expertise, we wish to spread our sense of taste, refinement, class, as well as our tradition and lore. Cooking is an art and our goal is to shape and model artists in the Italian Food and Wine Industry.

Italian Cooking courses: Professional Programmes To attend these programmes an intermediate level of Italian is required (more info). To meet the linguistic requirements the student needs to attend an Italian preparatory course at Linguaviva. The student interested in Professional Programmes can choose from four different specific areas: Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry, Wine Expertise, La Bella Tavola. The student may attend an Internship Programme in the chosen area after completing the advanced level.
Italian Cooking school: Programme for Amateurs The special combination of Italian study and Cooking courses offers international students a unique opportunity to better understand Italian culture. Practical cooking classes are held in Italian language and are for non-professional people. The focus is on Italian culinary and wine traditions, after the preparation of the dishes students will appreciate the resulting performance.
